MA125

Professional public address mixing amplifier

The MA125 is the most easy and universal 100 volt professional mixing amplifier for commercial and industrial applications. This amplifier is very intuitive to use because it has only the buttons available you really need. MA125 can drive 8 ohms or constant voltage loudspeakers.

4 microphone inputs with integrated speech filters, 4 selectable line inputs and one emergency line / telephone input are available where MIC input 1 is meant to be the main microphone paging input.  The MA125 allows you to have priority with your paging microphone as well as a seamless mix of your microphone with your sound source.

MA125 has a 3-level priority system where the emergency line / telephone input at the back have the highest priority. MIC1 has the second priority level and the third priority level can be activated by a dry contact at the back of the amplifier that mutes all background music inputs and activates the integrated chime. Further the MA125 is supplied with detachable 19” brackets.

When needed the signals mixed via the MA125 mixing amplifier can be recorded or distributed via the record output. You can even insert external signal processors or use the MA125 as a pre-amplifier in combination with an external power amplifier.

MA247MR

5+1 zone 100V mixing amplifier with Tuner/MP3/USB/SD, 240W

The MA247MR is a 240 watts 6-zone 100 volt amplifier system with an integrated FM/AM tuner and a media player that allows playing MP3-songs from a USB memory stick or SD-card. This mixing amplifier has been improved with 24 volt dedicated priority output per zone for more listening and operating comfort. Control the volume in 6 different zones, have a different sound source in one zone compared to all other zones or do selective paging in all zones without interrupting the music in the other zones. There is nothing like this on the market! It can be used stand-alone, or as the core of an expandable sound system.

Because the MA247MR offers independent source selection for zones 1 and 2-6, it can be used as a multi-source zoning system. Zone 1 is a fully independent pre-amplified zone and allows the installer to use an external power amplifier to amplify it. It is especially useful for large areas that require many speakers, like factory production areas. This has the particular advantage that the installer can use the external amplifier to suit his power needs for that particular zone.

Zones 2 to 6 can be individually volume controlled using the integrated speaker volume controls. Zones number 5 and 6 are 70-Volts outputs, these are compatible with 100 volt speakers, but by nature, these outputs will have a slightly reduced output level, meant for the ‘quiet’ zones in a multi-zone system.

MA247MR has four balanced inputs on Euro block. Microphone input 1 is optimized to be used with the Apart MICPAT-6, a selective 6-zone paging microphone, designed especially for use with the MA247MR. This microphone is the master microphone. Maximum five of these microphones can be switched in parallel on this single input! Microphone inputs 2 – 4 are designed to be used with the Apart MICPAT-2 (2 zone groups) microphone or any other microphone depending on the application. On the MA247MR, you can preset 2 paging groups to be paged with microphones 2 – 4.

There are 6 different priority levels on the MA247MR. When any priority has been activated, integrated 24VDC supply output (max 0.6A) can switch priority relays of loudspeaker attenuators or other devices. In case of mains power failure, the MA247MR can be powered via the 24V DC power input. If an external 24V UPS is connected to the unit, the amplifier will automatically switch to it.

Professional installers will also appreciate the possibility to use an external amplifier as a paging amp. Suppose zones 2 and 3 should not receive paging messages, meaning there should always be background music. In this situation, the installer can use an external amplifier for paging. When a paging call is sent out, zones 2 and 3 will stay connected to the internal amplifier and will continue to receive background music. The other zones will hear the paging message. The MA247MR will disconnect these zones from the internal amp and will send the paging message to the external amp. When paging is finished, these zones will be switched back automatically to the internal amp.

When required, it is even possible to use a 2-channel amplifier (e.g. the PA2240BP) as external amplifier, with one channel assigned to power zone 1 of the MA247MR, while the second channel of the external amplifier is used to power paging messages.

This amplifier is also available as amplifier without tuner and media player (MA247).

MA35

Compact mixing amplifier, 35W @ 100 volt

MA35 is probably the most compact and complete 35 watts 100 volt mixing amplifier. No doubt this product can be the heart of many small installation projects where priority or mixed microphone calls and background music dispersion are needed. On top of that this amplifier can also be used in mobile applications as the MA35 functions with 12 volt (car battery).

The MA35 has 4 inputs: 2 MIC, 1 MIC-Line and 1 line input. A two step priority system is standard: MIC1 can have voice activated priority (VOX) that mutes all other inputs. This VOX mute can be switched off via an internal jumper. The contact closure (via DIN5 on MIC1 or Euro block on MIC1-2) will activate the chime and will mute input 3 (MIC3/LINE3) and 4.

The pre-amp out, power-amp input allows you to insert extra signal processors or to link the signal to other power amplifiers. Furthermore the MA35 is equipped with a bass – treble tone control, a record output and limiter circuit on the output to avoid clipping.

The MA35 has been build into a compact and sturdy metal housing. A 19” mounting bracket (Ref: MA35-19) is available as an option for rack mounting.

In case you need more power, the Apart MA65 can be an alternative as it is a 65 watts 100 volt mixing amplifier.
